Knowledge

Knowledge is the foundation of all intellect and understanding, without it mankind would be nothing and would be comparative to the animals that roam the Earth. Allah has blessed us all with knowledge, some with knowledge of grammar and use of language, others blessed with knowledge of the sciences of chemistry or the human anatomy. Whatever knowledge Allah blesses us with it is certainly from him, by the mercy and guidance of Allah, he made the first verse of the Quran to be "Read! In the name of your lord", and today most knowledge is stored in books.

Muslims should appreciate the knowledge we are blessed with and a dua' we should continiously read after Fajr is

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً

Oh Allah, increase me in beneficial knowledge, good provision and accepted good deeds

May Allah give us knowledge of his glorious book, let it be the source of guidance and give us knowledge that benefits us and others.
